MIDTOWN NEIGHBORS UNITED
OUR MISSION
Midtown Neighbors United is organizing the voices calling for responsible development in the North Hills area of Raleigh. The City of Raleigh – its Planning Staff and the City Council – has approved an inappropriate rezoning request for the Main and Lassiter Districts in North Hills. In doing so, the City ignored a mountain of questions, issues and concerns raised by concerned citizens and chose to rubber-stamp a billionaire developer’s wish list while completely ignoring the wishes of our community.
We understand that further residential and commercial development in North Hills is inevitable. That said, responsible development within our community cannot happen when the City lacks basic respect for our community and disregards our voice at every step of the rezoning process.
